SDM-Bank introduces a new service-mobile acquiring

Starting from August 2014, the clients of SDM­Bank will be able to use the new service ­ mobile acquiring.

There is a rapid growth of mobile payments today­this is a convenient and secure alternative of standard POS­terminals. Now one of the most innovative methods for cashless payments is available for the clients of SDM­Bank. Complex solution M4Bank.MPOS has been realized in cooperation with «CENTER OF CORPORATE TECHNOLOGIES»­ provider and developer of multichannel systems for remote banking services.

Mobile POS­terminal (mPOS) is a compact device for a card reading, which connects with a smartphone or a tablet via audio jack. Though the device is small, it performs the same functions and capabilities, as classical POS terminal. Mpos utilizing is very simple and does not require any special skills, all you have to do is to swipe the card through the card reader, input the payment amount and e­mail address of the client for an electronic receipt. The client confirms the operation by signing on the screen of the smartphone or a tablet.

The service is available for Android and IOS devices. Both VISA and MasterCard with magstripe and chip are accepted.

The service is going to be provided to the legal entities and individuals, who has concluded the acquiring contract with SDM­ Bank. According to Denis Davydov, head of retail business department, ­ «This service is especially needed in the sphere of retail, small merchants, services out of the office (online shops, taxi, entrepreneurs and notaries public providing at home services) ».
